Le Marrakech: On May 25th of 2004 Moroccan Restaurateur Toufiq Lahlou created an authentic Moroccan restaurant in the heart of French Saint Martin. Le Marrakech, set in an early 1900 Creole House, is one of Saint Martin's historic homes. Now newly renovated based on the design of a famous Moroccan architect, it gives the experience of being in Moroccan North Africa. All of the fixtures for the restaurant were imported by Toufiq from Fes, Casablanca, and Marrakech.
